The 2015 Sampaloc Milk Tea Poisoning in the Sampaloc district of Manila killed two people and sickened another. Two customers, Suzaine Dagohoy and Arnold Aydalla, of the Ergo Cha tea shop and the owner, William Abrigo, collapsed after drinking Hokkaido milk tea that had an unpleasant flavor. Suzaine Dagohoy and William Abrigo later died in the hospital. Analysis of blood from the two fatalities found a lethal amount of oxalic acid. Police filed murder charges against the owner's son, Lloyd Abrigo, in relation to the incident. ==Background== The whole incident was recorded on the shop's CCTV camera. A couple- Suzaine Dagohoy and Arnold Aydalla- ordered Hokkaido milk tea at a shop named Ergo Cha. Shortly after they took a sip, Aydalla tasted something unpleasant, then spit it out and made Dagohoy taste it before bringing it to the attention of the shop owner, William Abrigo- who had prepared the drink for the couple. Three minutes later, Dagohoy started to vomit and then she collapsed. The nearby residents helped get Dagohoy to the hospital. Aydalla also lost consciousness and was taken to the hospital. Four hours later, Dagohoy died in the hospital. Her boyfriend, Aydalla, survived. Meanwhile, in order to prove that there was nothing wrong in his preparation of milk tea,〔 shop owner William Abrigo, drank the milk tea they had returned to him. William also prepared another milk tea for himself and drank it. After a few minutes, he too collapsed. The store helper- who was taking a lunch break at the time of the incident, leaving William with the task to serve the customers- came back and found that William had collapsed and took him to the hospital. Later he died, 2 hours after Dagohoy had passed away.〔 The store helper said that he had noticed William's son, Lloyd Abrigo, bringing toxic-looking chemicals into the shop. The helper said that Lloyd ordered him to wash the pitcher containing the milk tea. But he failed to do so due to the foul smell emanating from the pitcher, prompting Lloyd to clean it himself. According to the doctor who attended to the couple, the cause of poisoning was probably a water buffloa which she states that can cause contamination if it gets in contact with food. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「2015 Sampaloc milk tea poisoning」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
